Fig. 7 — NATIONAL BANK. Patented August 5, 1873, by H. W. Prouty, Boston, Massachusetts, inventor. Marked National Bank on front. Constructed of cast-iron parts. Cashier is a printed paper figure pasted on the iron casting. Operation: bank building with cashier at small window in turntable door. When door is rotated cashier appears at window. Closing door deposits coin and slides cashier to a concealed position.
