| FOREWARD Gerald M. Patton, and the staff of Patton's Auction Centre, are proud to offer to the public, The L. C. Hegarty Collection, from storage, "none from residence." It is comprised of over 800 pieces of rare cast iron and tin toys, bell ringers, rare collection of animated cap pistols, large collection of other cap pistols, cap bombs, iron and brass-top pistol, and many other rare ones, original wood boxes which contained mechanical banks, broadside of mechanical banks, etc., lot of toys in new condition in the original boxes, rare original Stevens, etc. catalogues of banks and toys, bronze patterns for banks, large lot extra cast iron figures, rare trains of all types, much reference material from Emerine's collection, "Blinking Eye" clock case, rare tin ferris wheel, lot cast iron sample toys with original tags, planes, etc., one of two known extremely rare animated cap exploders, large tin toys, dozens small tin mechanical and pull-toys, extremely rare cased coin game, "The Bicycle Wheel." These items have been collected over the past 25 years, and are from the second floor storage rooms over garage located in Coalport, Pa., property of The Late L. C. Hegarty, Coalport, Pa.
