Andrew Emerine
A COLLECTOR
Fostoria Ohio

Mr. Edward T. Richards
1109 Hospital Trust Building
Providence 3, Rhode Island

Dear Mr. Richards:
Thank you for your letter of January 9th. and I would say that you have done quite well to be able to gather in ninety banks in five years collecting today.
As for myself I have added but one - a "High Hat Jolly Nigger" during the past year; but it matters little to me even if I should get no more, as I am able to be satisfied with the collection I have.
This letter is being written while in bed where I have been for the past six weeks on account of torn ligaments from my left knee, but I expect to be out shortly.
It will indeed be a pleasure to show you the collection of banks any time you should be in Fostoria; the main pleasure of having the banks today is showing them to my friends.

                Very truly,
                    A. Emerine

February 4th. 1952.
